It is always better to hand apply the liquid sealer (with a mixture of no more than 43% water) onto the pavement with various hand tools.
2. What is the cure time for sealcoating?
Older driveways should be allowed to cure for 24 hrs. Driveways that are 1-2 years old should be allowed to cure for 48 hrs.
3. Are there negative effects of water in sealer?
All sealer has water added to the mixture. Whether it is coal tar, petroleum emulsion, or asphalt emulsion.
4. How often should I seal my driveway?
Ideally every 2-3 years.
